In addition to writing and illustrating, I teach in the summer at Hollins University in a graduate-level Children's Book Illustration certificate program, taken over the course of two summers. I teach occasionally at the Norman Rockwell Museum and at the Highlights Foundation classes.

PRINCESS PARTIES:

I am booking DANCING PRINCESS PARTIES at a number of public libraries. Email me for the program details.

Thanks for visiting!

RESOURSES:

For anyone interested in the children's book market and writing/illustrating, there are some wonderful resources out there:

The SCBWI is an essential source for writers and illustrators. They have local chapters and many conferences a year.

I also recommend "The Children's Book Insider " newsletter, where for a small yearly fee you will get outstanding articles on the children's book market.

Here is a great article for beginning writers: ELIZABETH DULEMBA  article on  GETTING PUBLISHED

And another great source for vast resources  related to the field is Author Cynthia Leitich Smith's wonderful website.

BLOGS with Children's Literature author interviews, reviews and resources:

CHILDREN'S LITERATURE NETWORK

And my favorite resource for all things FAIRY TALE related:

You can BUY SIGNED BOOKS BY MANY AUTHORS AND ILLUSTRATORS AT

THE ERIC CARLE PICTURE BOOK MUSEUM OF ART BOOKSTORE
